Today, I went to the Circus World Museum in Baraboo, WI. This is the former winter headquarters of the Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey Circus. In addition to the museum, with lots of history of various circuses and a large building displaying restored wagons, there are circus acts in the Hippodrome. It is well worth spending four-five hours on the grounds.

Turtle Lake, WI
Yesterday, Sami got to go visit Dorey, a yellow Labrador Retriever, near Turtle Lake, Wisconsin. They had fun retrieving Sami's toys.
The weather was great for swimming, with temperatures in the high 80s. Today it is about 90 degress, with very high humidity.
I will be staying in the Turtle Lake area for another week and go to Lake Delton, in the Wisconsin Dells area.
Warmest regards, Gus

More Moon Dogs
Moon Dogs Baseball
I have gotten behind in my blogs. I will start with last night's baseball game at Mankato, MN. My cousin Blake was the winning pitcher for the Moon Dogs last night. He is now 5-0 on the season and will be a starting pitcher in the All-Star Game to be played on July 18th in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. After the game, Betty and I posed with Blake and cousin Kacie (she is a softball pitcher). The Moon Dogs is a team consisting of college players (mostly Division I); there are 16 teams in two divisions, with most of the teams in Minnesota and Wisconsin. The players come from across the country, some whom recently played in the College World Series in Omaha.
