Today I went on a tour of several horse farms in the Lexington, KY, area. In the picture to the left is Tixnow, who is standing at stud at WinStar Farms. The horse business is suffering some right now, but there are still studs commanding fees of $100,000 or more. I also visited the Kentucky Yearlings Sale and the prices are down. It certainly is a good time to buy a horse.Warmest regards, Gus
