I have not had a chance to do much this past week, as cousins Jim and Pat spent most of the week attending the Bob Hope Classic Golf Tournament. Since cameras are not allowed on the golf course, I stayed home. The weather was ideal for the tournament, with temperatures in the mid-70s and no wind.But I did go out into the desert early one morning with Sami (the dog) on her walk and Jim got this picture of the moon setting over Mt. San Jacinto, which is just west of Palm Springs. There had been a lot more snow on the peak several weeks ago, but the warm weather has melted most of it.
I will be in this area for another week before heading further west.
