Mount Rushmore

Yesterday I had the opportunity to visit Mount Rushmore. As you can see in the first picture, I wore my Park Ranger outfit, and was a big hit with the park rangers on duty.
In the third picture, I am sitting with Nick Clifford, who is the last surviving "driller" who worked on carving the presidents on Mt. Rushmore. He is 90 years old and going strong. Yesterday he was signing copies of his book detailing the hardships, and the joys, of working on the mountain.
Warmest regards, Gus
