Yesterday I spent some time visiting the Great Sand Dunes just northeast of Alamosa, CO. The Visitors' Center has a great film and then I went out and climbed on the dunes. I think I will have to come back in the Spring when the water is running from the snowmelt in the Sangre de Christo Mountains.
